Speaker Resources + Info

Hey hey! I’m so excited to team up with you for another round of the Creative Spark Summit, which is going to be amazing!

This round of the Creative Spark Summit will be all about Digital Product Creation again as our attendees want it again! It will be a 3-day event that will help planner, sticker, printable, in short, digital product creators, take a break to recharge their minds by learning new creative skills that they can also put to use in their business to make more amazing products.

On this page, you’ll find all kinds of resources designed to make your life as a speaker as easy as possible and answer any questions you might have. I’ve also designed a new speaker hub that you can bookmark that has all the links and forms you need to submit all your info.

If you run into a question I didn’t answer, email me at hello@kimberlycosta.com or ask over in the Facebook group.

As a speaker, you’ll also get free access to the Spark Pass!

how it’ll all

Let’s do a quick rundown of how the whole thing will work.

Turn in Presentation & Worksheet

Help Us Promote the Summit

Connect with Attendees

Make Affiliate Commission

The event will run from March 13th – 15th with around 6-7 pre-recorded presentations running each day. These presentations will include 25 – 45 minutes of content (with a 3-5 minute pitch).

Along with the presentations, there will be a Facebook group for attendees to hang out in, hold each other accountable, and ask all of us additional questions. You’ll also be able to go live in the Facebook group for a bit of an encore to answer questions, connect with the attendees, and provide even more value.

The additional Facebook live Q & A is not required but we’ve found speakers who do this live connect in a very special way with attendees. You don’t have to show your face if you don’t want to, you can share your screen to share your products or work if it makes you more comfortable.

I have also provided a Canva Template to design a worksheet/workbook that will accompany your presentation. You can also just include a template that accompanies your presentation if you’d like.

Leading up to the summit, we’ll have two weeks of promotion. You’ll be provided with email swipe copy, social media swipe copy, and social media graphics to make it all easy! I’ll even have a suggested posting/sending schedule for you to make promo easy to outsource to a VA.

During the promotion phase, as the summit is running, and for a week after the summit is complete, we’ll also be promoting two tiers of the Spark Pass. The Premium Spark Pass includes unlimited access to all presentations, bonuses, contributions, and 3 live sessions. The Essential Spark Pass includes unlimited access to all presentations only. This will provide immense value to our attendees, while making the work of promoting and creating a presentation worthwhile by allowing you to bring in affiliate commissions!

What I need from you

So this all sounds great, but what kind of work does it require of you? Let’s chat about it! My goal is to make this all as easy as humanly possible so we can all have a blast while providing great value and growing our businesses.

1 Basic Info

The first thing I’ll need is some very basic information from you so I can finish up our registration page and Meet the Speakers page.

This information includes things like:

  • Name
  • Title
  • Bio
  • Square headshot

Once you give me the thumbs up that you’re in, I’ll send you a link where you can upload all this information easily.

2 Presentation & Resource

Next up is your presentation! This is a 25-45 minute pre-recorded presentation that is meant to be more friendly and casual than perfect and structured. We want our attendees to learn something great, while having fun in the process.

Please structure your content in a way that allows attendees to walk away feeling like they’ve really learned something, rather than a webinar format where they feel like they’re missing something that they need to buy from you asap.

We also encourage you to think about this as a workshop since creative skills/activities are better learned by watching what you’re doing. Consider sharing your screen and allowing attendees to watch you work as you teach. This can be extremely powerful!

Here’s a list of the presentation formats that you can select:

  • Slides
  • No slides (just your beautiful face)
  • A mixture of the two
  • Screen sharing to really show attendees what you’re doing

No matter what format you choose, you are free to use your presentation however you’d like in the future.

Your presentation should include great, actionable content. Here’s a suggested format:

  • A quick introduction
  • An overview of your topic & (if applicable) how practicing this skill helps clear your mind
  • Teaching section we encourage you to share your screen and show them how you work
  • Specific ways that this skill set can be applied to one’s business (you can give examples of how to use the skill in a real business setting)
  • Up to a 3-5 minute pitch to one of your products/courses
  • Include questions for attendees to think about

Presentations are due by 2/7/2024.

Find a PDF download with all this info here.

3 Spark Pass Contribution

The Spark Pass will be a huge addition to the presentations we’re running. To make it even more valuable, I’ll ask each speaker to provide one resource to add. This includes things like:

  • eBooks
  • Workbooks
  • Courses (big or small)
  • X-month memberships
  • Templates
  • Products
  • Toolkits

Note: I expect this to convert well so I do not recommend contributing any 1:1 offers.

It’s totally up to you to decide whether you’d like to create something new or provide something you already have. While this isn’t required, it’s highly encouraged that you participate.

We do ask that you do not include something that you’re giving away for free elsewhere and that it’s valued at a minimum of $17.

Information for these resources is due on 2/7/2024. You’ll receive a questionnaire to fill out closer to that time to make passing the information to me nice and simple.

4 Promotion & Participation

The power of an online summit comes from a group of experts coming together for a single cause. The joint promotion that happens because of that is a huge benefit to everyone involved.

Because of that, everyone is asked to share once on social media and to send at least one solo email to their lists during the promotion period, starting on 2/28/24.

You’ll want to share using your affiliate link (which you can set up here) so you can get in on the 40% commission (50% if you contribute a resource) that will come from any Spark Pass sales.

You’ll also find swipe copy and graphics in the Resource Vault.

And last comes participation during the week of the event. Since we’ll already have done the work of creating the presentations and extra resources, we’ll be able to sit back and relax for the most part!

All I ask is that you participate and interact in the Facebook group throughout the week to help attendees with any questions regarding your topic and to stay excited and engaged.

While you are not required to attend the events of other speakers, it’s highly encouraged! We’ll be able to get some great discussions going about the topics being presented and you’ll be supporting fellow speakers and having them support you!

The Premium Spark Pass will be the traditional Spark Pass that offers access to presentations, live creative sessions, and bonuses.
